Job Title: Caregiver / CNA
Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour

1Heart Caregiver Services is a licensed, non-medical home care agency serving seniors and adults with disabilities in their own homes under the Texas PAS (Personal Assistance Services) program regulated by Texas Health and Human Services. Our goal is to help clients remain safe, independent, and comfortable by providing reliable, compassionate in-home support. We have a dedicated local team that supports both clients and caregivers so you are not working alone in the field.
Position Summary
We are hiring Caregivers and CNAs who are caring, dependable, and professional to provide in-home support for seniors in the community. You will assist with daily living activities, basic personal care, and companionship so clients can maintain dignity and quality of life at home. This is a great opportunity for DMS Care students and graduates seeking hands-on experience in home care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide companionship and friendly conversation to clients in their homes.
Ensure client safety through supervision, fall prevention, and general oversight.
Assist with personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and ambulation as needed.
Support activities of daily living (ADLs), including light housekeeping and laundry.
Prepare simple meals and assist with feeding as needed.
Offer medication reminders (no medication administration).
Provide transportation or accompany clients to appointments or errands when assigned.
Observe and promptly report changes in client condition to the office.
Requirements
Must be 18 years or older.
Able to pass a criminal background check in accordance with Texas regulations.
Negative TB test or TB screening within the past year (or willingness to obtain).
CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Valid ID and work authorization.
Reliable transportation and a working phone.
Compassionate, patient, and dependable with good communication skills.
DMS Care CNA students and graduates are strongly encouraged to apply, especially those seeking home health or senior care experience.

Southlake, Flower Mound, Lake Dallas, Lewisville, Colleyville, Keller, Roanoke, Trophy Club, Westlake, and parts of the Fort Worth region.
